North Carolina Healthcare Financial Managers Association

At the North Carolina Healthcare Financial Management Association keynote, I delivered “The ART of Making a Difference” to an audience of over 200 members.
This dynamic program explored leadership through the lens of purpose, passion, and impact. I shared actionable strategies rooted in my creative journey and real-world experiences, offering a fresh perspective on how to lead with authenticity and vision.

The presentation closed to a standing ovation, a testament to how deeply the message resonated with the audience and its relevance to their professional and personal lives.

CONE HEALTH KEYNOTE AT THE ANNUAL CHES EVENT

I had the distinct honor of serving as the keynote speaker for Cone Health’s annual CHES celebration, hosted at the prestigious North Carolina A&T State University.

The evening began with a festive cocktail reception and an exceptional menu curated by the culinary team at Painted Plate. Guests also enjoyed an intimate art show featuring twelve of my latest colorful works, adding a creative touch to the evening.

Nearly 200 attendees gathered to celebrate the season and engage with my signature keynote, “The ART of Making a Difference” — a message that explored the power of purpose, leadership, and lasting impact.

As a meaningful finale, each guest received a personally signed copy of my latest book, Making a Difference, creating a keepsake moment that reflected the spirit of the evening. It was a memorable event filled with inspiration, connection, and gratitude.

Grandfather Mountain Lecture Series – Opening Keynote

I was honored to kick off the Lecture Series at Grandfather Mountain, held at the magnificent Wilson Center — a living tribute to Hugh Morton’s vision of preserving heritage and building community around one of North Carolina’s most cherished landmarks.

My keynote, “North Carolina Beautiful,” offered a journey through my life as a professional artist — from humble beginnings to the creation of my most celebrated works. I had the pleasure of sharing personal stories, artistic challenges, and the deeper meaning behind capturing the spirit of our great state on canvas.

It was a profound privilege to reflect on the importance of preserving our cultural and natural legacy, and to inspire others to carry that vision forward for future generations.

Community Housing Solutions Annual Luncheon – A Celebration of Purpose and Partnership

At the Community Housing Solutions Annual Luncheon, over 500 guests gathered to celebrate a powerful collaboration between art and advocacy. I was honored to unveil the 36th edition of The Honor Card, a painting created to raise awareness and support for CHS’s mission of providing critical home repairs and affordable housing to low-income families in Guilford County.

This partnership generated nearly $140,000 in direct support—funds that have restored safety, dignity, and hope to families across our community. It was a moving testament to how creativity, when aligned with compassion, can drive lasting change and uplift lives.
