Duke, I felt the power of purpose that built this remarkable place. My audience that day—leaders from AccessHealth across the Carolinas—embodied that same spirit. They face one of the toughest callings imaginable: serving the uninsured and underserved with compassion and skill.

But what struck me most wasn’t the challenge ahead; it was the resilience within them. With changes coming to their funding and structure, they stood firm in their mission to provide hope. I reminded them that like artists, they hold the brush—the power to blend courage and creativity into something lasting. That’s what The ART of Making a Difference is all about.
